Kinetic energy is the highest when the baseball is in the air.
Potential energy is the highest when the ball is about to be thrown.
Kinetic energy gets converted to potential energy when the ball stops flying in the air and falls on the ground.
Potential energy is converted into kinetic energy when the ball is thrown.
