How can I solve it quickly?

You need to do 4 divided by 4 on 1 side and 20 divided by 4 on the other side

4÷4= 1 so we are left with x

20÷4= 5 so we are left with 5

Therefore x=5

Is x all by itself? No, there's a 4 multiplied by it.

So, we do the opposite operation.

Division.

Thus, we divide both sides by 4.
