This is a multipurpose project in Tanzania managed by the government .
It established for the aim of the followings:
- To exploit the potential resources in the basin
- To improve the socio economic welfare of thw people within a basin.
- To plan and moniter the exploitation of resources in the river basin.
- To control floods.
Remember:This project of RUBADA is like that of Tenessee Valley Authority TVA in USA which was established by President Franklin Roosevelt.
