Answer:

The slope is 2.5

Explanation:

y = 2.5x + 5 or

y = 5/2x + 5

When x=0, y = 5

When y=0, x = -2

Answer:

slope = 5/2

y = (5)/(2)x + 5

Explanation:

(x₁ ,y₁) = (-4 , -5) & (x₂, y₂) = (2 , 10)

Slope=(y_(2)-y_(1))/(x_(2)-x_(1))\\\\\\=(10-[-5])/(2-[-4])\\\\=(10+5)/(2+4)\\\\=(15)/(6)\\\\=(5)/(2)\\\\= 2.5

m = 5/2 ; (-4 , -5)

Equation: y - y1 = m(x -x1)

y - [-5] = (5)/(2)*(x - [-4])\\\\y + 5 = (5)/(2)(x + 4)\\\\y + 5 =(5)/(2)x + (5)/(2)*4\\\\y + 5 = (5)/(2)x + 5*2\\\\y + 5 = (5)/(2)x + 10\\\\ y = (5)/(2)x + 10 - 5\\\\ y = (5)/(2)x + 5
