The number of days to build a bridge varies inversely to the number of workers. If it takes 600 days to build a large bridge with 50 workers how long will it take if there are 100 workers

300 days

Explanation:

Number of days = k/number of workers

K= number of days × number of workers

K= 600 × 50

= 30,000

Therefore if there are 100 workers then the number of days required for the work can be calculated as follows

30,000= number of days × 100

Number of days = 30,000/100

= 300 days
