The similarities and differences between the Altamira cave and the Lascaux cave

Both caves have paintings of animals. Both use different colors to paint the animals. the difference is The bison is the primary animal painted in the Altamira caves. While in Lascaux the paintings show: bison, deer, horses, and cattle – all running across the walls. In Altamira caves, there are at least 16 bison grouped in the center of the cave with 2 boars and 1 deer. In Lascaux, the animals are dispersed in various places in the cave.

Caves are full of wonders a cavern that is yet to be explored, Many caves hold rare and beautiful items such as gems and crystals! It's a beautiful wonder to explore! The echoes and cold wind that runs under and into the cave is a musical symphony that takes a mind full of curiosity to hear.

The differences and similarities between prehistoric art and the art that we see created today?

Current art uses more defined techniques and is more likely to employ the elements of art, such as space, form, or texture. Perspective was not used in prehistoric art, making all figures flat and 2 dimensional. Also, prehistoric art was often made with limited materials, while more modern art is often created with a wide variety of supplies, ranging from pencil, to paint, to clay. The similarities are Both prehistoric and current art are outlets of creativity, along with often being useful, like with artistic maps, and depictions of animals.

What are some of the issues that the Lascaux cave has faced since the year 2000?

fungus infestations have followed over the years that threatened to destroy the priceless ancient paintings. The conservation process is still ongoing up to the time of writing and Lascaux Cave is not open to the public.
