Explanation:

Evaluate from the ' inside out ' , that is

Evaluate g(2) then use this value to evaluate f(x) then use this value to evaluate h(x)

g(2) = 4(2)² - 9 = 4(4) - 9 = 16 - 9 = 7, then

f(7) = 7 + 7 = 14 , then

h(14) = - 2(14) + 1 = - 28 + 1 = - 27
