Parentheses

Exponents

Multiplication and Division

Addition and Subtraction.

That is the order you must do things in when your working with Orders of operation. So we add 4+2 first giving us 6. Then do the exponent 6₃ witch gives us 216. After take 216, and multiply it by 2. That gives us 432. Then do 24 ÷ √16 witch gives us 6. Then subtract 6 from 432. After you subtract add the 6 from the parentheses equation, and you end back up with 432.

Hope this helps :)

Answer: -1

Explanation: The subscript (3) under 6 has no value so 6 subscript 3 is just 6. Use BEDMAS to solve for the equation (Brackets, Exponents, Division, Multiplication, Addition, Subtraction)

1. 6 x 2 - 24 / square root 16 + (8)
2. 6 x 2 - 24 / 4 + 8
3. 6 x 2 - 24 / 12
4. 12 - 24 / 12
5. -12 / 12
6. -1

Therefore the answer is -1.
