i think i did this earlier but

x=9

because...
both sides of the triangle are congruent so u will have to combine them

x+18=3x (3x-x is 2x)
-x -x

18/2 =2x/2 (divide by 2)
9=x

An isosceles triangle has a different base while the remaining two side-lengths are equal, therefore:

x + 18 = 3x

Subtract x from both sides:

18 = 2x
