Chainsaw fuel must be mixed at a 40:1 ratio of gasoline to oil in order for the chainsaw to run properly.

If you have two gallons of gas, how much oil do you need to add? (1 gallon = 128 ounces)

Answer: b. 6.4 ounces

Explanation:

2 gallons x 128 ounces = 256 ounces

256/40 = 6.4 ounces

OR

3.2 ounces of oil to each gallon of gas. So, 3.2 ounces of oil x 2 gallons of gas = 6.4 ounces of oil
