Con-The bad effect of the neolithic revolution is the increase of population making it harder to feed everyone also with agriculture in modern day most Americans don’t have to hunt for there own food causing a large amount of the population to be over weight.

Con-Monoculture is one problem because farmers tend to eradicate all other creatures when they want to harvest their products in good quantity, therefore biodiversity is lost in some places where monoculture type agriculture is an issue.People also tend to cut down trees to have agricultural fields and to have palm trees instead of native trees this is also a problem ecosystem functions are lost in this case.
Pro-urban agriculture on a small scale can help to localize food production reducing the overall environmental footprint of our modern food systems benefits include lower greenhouse gas emissions, minimal transportation requirements, and reduced energy use for food production.
