you want to get Y by itself so here is how you do that.


-x+y=-3\\+x +x\\

Now we have y=x-3

now we plug x into the equation to get our answer.

-2 - 3 = -5

-1 - 3 = -4

0 - 3 = -3

1 - 3 = -2

2 - 3 = -1
