Answer:

x=3/2 or x=-3

Explanation:

first off equate the equation to zero

2x²+3x-9=0

then using factorisation method multiply 2 and -9 to get -18.

factors of -18 include +6 and -3

2x²+6x-3x-9=0

then factorise it

2x(x+3)-3(x+3)

(2x-3)(x+3)=0

2x=3 x+3=0

x=3/2 or -3

Factoring this equation, your answer is:

(2x−3)(x+3)
