right. What is the area of the pan not covered by a biscuit if the

so let assume an are of 80cm^2 of the pan and the number of biscuit is 20

the diameter of each biscuit is 2cm

the radius is 2cm

The expression for the area is

A=πr^2

A=3.14*1^2

A= 3.14cm^2

the total area covered by the biscuit is

=3.14*20

=62.8cm^2

the area not covered is

=80-62.8

=17.2cm^2
