Answer:
If there is enough food to serve as a meal, you should save the food in an appropriate container to eat later. One should always label the food. On the top of the lid, you should put what it is and when it was cooked. If you do not label your food, you could end up eating something expired without ever knowing it. Personally, I only save things that I love, and that taste good cold or reheated. I always label my food and throw it out after a day or two if I haven't eaten it.
