For a science project, Daniel planted 51 flower seeds. Of those seeds, 12 did not grow at all. Of the seeds that did grow, 2/3 of them grew green tomatoes. How many green tomatoes grew?

Explanation:

Do 51-12 first because those did not grow which is 39. Then divide 39 by 3 and you get 13. That is one third of the plants that grew, so you now have to multiply by two. 13 times 2 is 26, so that would be your answer.
