Read the three excerpts from The Strange Case of Dr.

Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.
For all that, the two men put the greatest store by these
excursions, counted them the chief jewel of each week,
and not only set aside occasions of pleasure, but even
resisted the calls of business, that they might enjoy them
uninterrupted.
Mr. Utterson again walked some way in silence and
obviously under a weight of consideration. "You are sure
he used a key?" he inquired at last.
That evening Mr. Utterson came home to his bachelor
house in sombre spirits and sat down to dinner without
relish
As Mr.Utterson's character develops, he becomes more. Angry. Bored. Sad. Worried

Answer:

worried

Step-by-step explanation:

Mr. Utterson is a character from " The Strange Case od Dr. Jakyll and Mr. Hyde" and a good friend of protagonist, Dr. Jekyll.

First excerpt shows him completely carefree, taking a relaxing walk with his friend, Mr. Enfield.

In second excerpt, we see signs of restlessness caused by a sudden realization that his friend, Mr. Jekyll is somehow connected and possibly endagered by Mr. Hyde.

Finally, the third excerpt, shows Mr. Utterson in "sombre spirit" which menas he is very sad, serious or in deep thoughts.
