Why is getting a meeting request from a friend different from receiving one from an individual’s boss?

Answer:

This is so that the requested relationship dimension would be different. The boss's call for a meeting suggests that the topic at hand will be business and professional. On the other hand, a request from a friend would suggest a more informal, pleasant conversation.

thats what i said and got 100%

Answer:

This is because the relationship dimension of the request would be different. A meeting request boss implies that this discussion would be professional and work-related. A request from a friend, on the other hand, would imply a more relaxed, friendly discussion.
