Write a hypothesis for Part I of the lab, which is about the effect on an object being carried by a car, when the car experiences a sudden impact. Use the format of "if . . . then . . . because . . . ” and be sure to answer the lesson question "How can Newton's laws be experimentally verified?” specific to Newton’s first law.

Answer:

Simple Response:

If force is applied to a car, then its acceleration will change proportionally, as predicted by Newton’s second law, F = ma.

Explanation

My response:

If you apply force to the toy car, then the force would leave the toy car to accelerate

You can use any one of these if you want, if you use mines the answer will still be correct, but if you want your answer to be the right answer use the simple response. EDGE 2021
