Answer: a + b = 40


(3+√(5))(7-6√(5))=3.7+7√(5)-3.6√(5)-6√(5).√(5)\\\\=21+6.5-11√(5)\\\\=51-11√(5)

because
(3+√(5))(7-6√(5))=a+b√(5)

=> a = 51

b = -11

=> a + b = 51 -11 =40
