The true intentions of greed depend on the situation. Greed can benefit someone by getting them what they need, but in the end it really isn’t good to them at all. Greed can ruin relationships, not just with others but also with yourself. Greed is malicious and anything you get with greed is a loss in the end. Greed is always bad.

Greed can be good in a sense of motivation. If you have lots of greed it motivates you to work harder to get more and more money. It can be bad though in a sense that you can get to obsessed with money to the point it hurts friendships and relationships with family. When you have lots of greed you start to become selfish and only care about yourself and not about what your actions may cause.
