Sarah thinks that the

following expressions are
equivalent:
2x + 3 = x/2+ 3/4
Is she right? If so, prove
that these two expressions
are equivalent. If not, what
error(s) did she make?

No they are not correct, 3/4 is not equal to 3

No Sarah is not correct. If you replace x with 1, the first equation would equal 5, but the second equation would equal 1. In addition, when she tried to do the inverse operation, she did the inverse operation on the factors, not the operation.
