1. Ishaya and Bryan are team captains and are very competitive. For every free throw Ishaya makes, Bryan makes 2 free throws. If combined they made 63 free throws, how many free throws did Bryan make?

Bryan made 42 free throws because if Ishaya makes 1 free throw and then Bryan makes 2 each time you multiply 21 by both and get 42 for Bryan and 21 to Ishaya. Then you add 42 and 21 to get a total of 63. Hope this helps
