Is y = x +7 a proportinal relationship, if not why?

It isn’t due to there being a constant.Variables are proportional when the ratio of the values equals a constant. When there is a constant this isn’t the case.

it is. Even you change the value of x, the value of y will also change. Since the y-intercept is 7, if we have 0 as our x value, then the y-value will change to 7. Whenever we change the x value, the y value will also change.
