I would get things that match with purple. Yes I would probaly stick with one genre.

Some peices i would get are music vynils, record player, CDs, Maybe a keyboard. These all have a reflective past with me, for example my grandma gave my the records and record player before she died, The keyboard is my fav instrument and CD's are always cool to have cause of how they look. These are mix and match but i feel they would pair well.
