Explain in your own words when it is best to solve a system using analytical methods versus using graphical or algebraic methods.

Analytical methods are the preferred way to determine the outcome of a hypothesis when associated equations are simple and a precise answer is desired.

The algebraic method is more precise. When you "solve" a system you are really identifying the points that all of the lines have in common. In other words, the point at which the lines intersect. Finding the solution with graphs is not precise, but should usually be close enough if that is what is asked.
