Painter A charges $70 to start a job and $80 per hour he/she is there. Painter B charges $100 per hour. Write an inequality that would determine how many hours would the job take for Painter A to be less expensive and solve.

Let the number of hours be x.

70 + 80x < 100x

20x > 70

x > 3.5
