f(x)+g(x)= (2x^2+5x+6)+(3x^2+4x-10)= 5x^2 + 9x -4.
f(x)-g(x)= (2x^2+5x-6)-(3x^2+4x-10)= 2x^2+5x-6 (-3x^2 - 4x +10)= -x^2 +x+4

Explanation:

f(x)+g(x)=(2x^2 + 5x +6) + (3x^2 +4x - 10)

Combine like terms

5x^2 + 9x -4

f(x)-g(x)=(2x^2 + 5x +6) - (3x^2 +4x - 10)

Distribute the negative

(2x^2 + 5x +6) + (-3x^2 -4x + 10)

Combine like terms

-x^2 +x +16
