60ml. 35% acid. What is 35% of 60 ml?

÷10 to find 10%

60÷10=6

6=10%

But this is no use

because you cannot multiply 10%to get 35%

(35% is not a multiple of 10)

So we try...

10%÷2=5%

So ÷2 to find 5%

6÷2=3

So 3=5%

5%x7=35%

So, we do

3x7=21

So 35%=21
