The correct answer choice is B) x-9=17
8/4=2
8-9=-1
8+12=20
2(8)=16
The second one isn’t correct because 8-9 is not 17, it is -1.

X/4=2 is x=8
X-9=17 is x=26
X+12=20 is x=8
2x=16 is 8
So its the second one
