Answer:

x-intercept is 8

y-intercept is 4

Explanation:

3x + 6y = 24 ( subtract 3x on both sides)

6y = -3x + 24 (divide by 6 on both sides)

y = -3/6x + 4 or

y = -1/2x + 4

The y-intercept is 4

To find the x-intercept set y as 0

0 = -1/2x + 4 (we have to get -4)

-1/2*8 = -4

0 = -4 + 4

0 = 0

x-intercept is 8
