Answer "and" Explanation:

Depends on whether this is a simple math problem or a riddle. I’m assuming the latter so…

Jeff received $20.00 for providing a lawn mowing service. Jeff received an additional $5.25 tip. Ignoring costs and taxes, Jeff’s gross receipts were $25.25.

Jeff then decided to wash a car. The ways it’s worded leads me to believe he spent $12.50 on the car wash.

So, $25.25 - $12.50 = $12.75

Alternatively, if Jeff was paid to wash the car then:

$20.00 + $5.25 + 12.50 = $37.75

So the Answer will be: $37.75

Answer:

See below.

Explanation:

Mowing the lawn: $20

Tip: $5.25

Add them together.

20+5.25=25.25

Washing the car: $12.50

Add that to the amount.

25.25+12.50=37.75

Answer:
37.75
