Write in slope intercept form an equation of the line that passes through the given points. (0,4) (4,8) and (-2,3) (-4,4)

Answer:

y = 1.25x+4

Explanation:

m = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

Substitute Values for one set of coordinates. I used (0,4) and (4,8)

Once you have derived what m is equal too, put it into your slope intercept form: y=mx+b

y=1.25x+b

b would be equal to 4 in this case (sorry i don't have enough time to explain why, but it is 4)

The final answer is y = 1.25x+4
