The election had John Quincy Adams, Henry Clay, Andrew Jackson, John Calhoun, and William Crawford. Jackson only 99 votes falling short of 32 votes to secure majority. Adams recieved 84 votes. Without a majority, it went to the house of represnatitive in which the Corrupt Bargin happened.
