From The twilight zone episode “The shelter”

1. How are Cold War fears expressed in this episode?
2.  What does this episode have to say about human nature?
3. What message do you think Rod Serling (the creator of the show and writer for this episode) was hoping people would take away from watching this episode?

Answer: hi! I just did my discussion with these questions.

1. The Cold War fears were expressed in this episode by showing the neighborhood people panicking and running around in disarray because of the nuclear bomb threat.

2. I believe this episode states that when the human nature believes they are in grave danger they will do anything in their power to survive even if it means hurting others and/or causing damage and n the process.

3. I believe the message Serling was trying to get across was in order “for civilization to survive the human race must remain civilized” as stated at the end of the episode.

If you have any corrections for my answers please lmk before I submit lol
