x = 3

Explanation:

First you need to distribute 2(x-10) to make the equation 2x - 20 + 8x = 10

Then add 20 to itself and 10 so the equation becomes 2x + 8x = 30

Now u can just add 2x + 8x which makes the equation 10x = 30

So now you divide 10 by itself and 30. Since that 10/10 cancels out the answer will be 3. There for x = 3
