(I WILL GIVE 30 POINTS PLEASE HELP ME)

1. Which is the slope of the line that passes through the points (1,1) and (2,7) ?

1a. Pick a point the line passes through above and with the slope you calculated, find the y- intercept

1b. Now that you know the y- intercept, what is the equation of the line ?

Hello!

1)First, they ask us to find the slope.
(y_(2)-y_(1))/(x_(2)-x_(1) ) is the slope formula.

The slope is 6

2)Let's just use the point they gave us (1,1)

We need to substitute the point in the equation and solve.

The y-intercept is -5

3) y=mx+b (m=slope b=y-intercept)

y=6x-5

I really hope this helps :-)
