Answer:

For the first triangle:


2.75 units^(2)

For the second triangle:


3.98 units^(2)

Explanation:

To find area of right triangles:


A=(ab)/(2)

  • Turn mixed numbers into improper fractions, then decimals. It's not required but I tend to find working with decimals much easier ;)
  • Multiply them together
  • Divide by 2
