Charlene wants to put an advert in the local paper she wants an advert with 10 lines. This is the rule to work out the cost of the advert. C=28(L-7)+144. C=the total cost £ L=the number of lines in the advert. Charlene can afford to pay up to £250 for the advert.Does an advert with 10 lines cost less than £250?

Answer:

Yes, she will be able to afford the advert with a £250 budget

My Logic:

If L= number of lines, and the number of lines is 10, then L=10

Next, I replaced L with 10 in the equation and solved to get 228. (10-7=3, 3*28=84, 84+144=228)

Since 250>228 the answer is yes.

Also, I realize that the answer to this question means nothing to you at this point, But I thought I would still answer it for you. I'm truly sorry that the answer could not have been provided faster and I'm sorry that there are people like in answer one who just want points.

I hope I made your day!
