Click on the area of the squarWhich equation would be used to represent the word problem below?
We Love Skating charges $9 to get in plus $2.50 per hour for skate rental. Lets skate charges $5.50 per hour to rent the skates. How many hours would you have to skate for the cost to be the same?
2.50 + 9x = 5.50x
5.50 + 9x = 2.50x
2.50x + 9 = 5.50x
5.50x + 9 = 2.50x
(Oh and btw I know how to find x really easily, I suck at word problems)

9+2.50x=5.50x
In the first sentence, it says $9 PLUS $2.50 per hour. In the next one, it only states one price for the other skate rental, $5.50 per hour.
