To find the exterior angle we must first find the value of x using one the angle property of triangles which is

the sum of any two interior angles in the triangle is equal to an exterior angle of the triangle.

To find x, add up the two given interior angles and equate to the exterior angle

We have

3x + 6 = 24 + 2x + 18

3x + 6 = 2x + 42

3x - 2x = 42 - 6

x = 36

From the question

B = (3x + 6)°

B = 3(36) + 6 = 108 + 6

We have the final answer as

114°
