x=3


q=6

Explanation:

If
x=2, then
x-2=0.

Therefore:


x^2-5x+q=0


2^2-5(2)+q=0


4-10+q=0


-6+q=0


q=6

This means that the other root is
x=3 since
(x-2)(x-3)=x^2-5x+6
