What is the probability of getting either a face card or a spade when drawing a single card from a deck of 52 cards?

Answer:

There are 13 spade cards and 12 face cards in a standard deck of 52 cards. BUT, 3 of those face cards are also spades, so what you have are 22 candidates for the draw, not 25. The odds are exactly 100% or zero, depending on what I want to happen.
