A theater has 60 seats in the first row, 68 seats in the second row, 76 seats in the third row,
and so on in the same increasing pattern. If the theater has 20 rows of seats, how many
seats are in the theater?

220 seats in the theater.

So if the increasing pattern is +8, and we need to determined how many seats there will be if there where 20 rows, then you would need to multiply.

1. 8 x 20 = 160

2. 160 + 60 = 220
