Two bicyclist started racing towards each other when they were 98 miles apart. Three hours later they did not yet meet and the distance between them was 2 miles. How fast each of them biked if the speed of one of them was 3 mph slower than the other's?

Explanation:

Two bicyclist started racing towards each other when they were 98 miles apart. Three hours later they did not yet meet and the distance between them was 2 miles. How fast each of them biked if the speed of one of them was 3 mph slower than the other's?

Since there are 2 miles apart from each other at the end, I subtracted 2 from 98 to 96. They rode for three ours so 96/3=32. 32 is the number of both mph of the bikers. Since one biker is 3 mph slower then the other, do the math and you get 17.5 and 14.5 :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
