y= -1/3x + 6

Explanation:

To find slope use y2-y1/x2-x1. I used y2=4 x2=6 y1=7 x1=-3

It doesn't matter which one is y2 or y1 etc. As long as they match up with each other.

You end up with -1/3 as your slope.

To find y intercept we use y=mx+b with m being the slope we just found and plugin in y and x with either point that was given.

I used (6,4)

4= -1/3(6) + b then you solve for b and get 6. Equation should be -1/3x+ 6.

The graph have a negative 1 over 3 slope with a y intercept at 6.
