Region A has the highest population density, then Region Region C , then D and Region B has the least .

Using the population density formula ;

  • Population density = Population / Area

Calculating the population density for each Region;

Region A ;

  • 20178/521 = 38.73

Region B ;

  • 1200 / 451 = 2.66

Region C ;

  • 13475 / 395 = 34.11

Region D ;

  • 6980 / 426 = 16.38

Hence, Region A has the highest population density, then Region Region C , then D and Region B has the least .
