The so-called Columbian exchange made total revolution when it comes to different areas. Both America and Old World exchanged different agricultural products, which enabled maritime trade to be one of the most important labors in the world. Additionally, Christianity and customs were spreading from Europe to America, and many people adopted this "new beliefs" although some tried to impose them. This also led to frequent migrations, especially from Europe to Americas, which of course changed the social structure of the Continent.

Europeans were introduced to a large number of new agricultural products, which totally changed the diet of Europeans, and of course enabled them to live longer.
