Given the following points, write an equation in slope-intercept form:
(-3, 5), (4, -3)
A.y = -7/8x + 1978
B.y=-3/7x + 11/7
C.y = -7/8x - 1978
D.y = -8/7x - 11/7

Answer: B -8/7x+11/7

Explanation:

First find the slope using teh formule
y_(2)-y_1\\x_2-x_1 which is teh formula for slope in this case the slope would be (-8/7) then pick a pair of points in this case we will use (4,-3) plug in the slope and the coordinate pair into the intercept formula (y=mx+b) so it would look like -3=-8/7(4)+b then solve for b so the answer be 8/7x+11/7
