hi! so the way I do this is I hold my hand out and do a ninja chop! I know this is weird but it's helpful or you could remember right and left!

anyways your line is "chopping" or leaning right which means you use your right hand not your left to recreate this line right is positive!

so this would be positive if it was negative it would go to the left and if you're using your hand to "chop" like a knife then you would use your left hand because your line would lean to the left

not sure if the chop method works for everyone but you could always remember right is positve and left is negative

update: found this weird picture but this is basically what I mean when I say chop LOL
